Privacy

This portal is run by Training Worx Australia for its BHP WAIO courses: BHP Rail Safety Leadership, and BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. This explains what we collect, why, and how we look after it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect (and only this)

• Your name and email address, so you can sign in.
• Your course cohort and dates.
• Your written answers to the course activities and questions.
• The workplace documents you choose to upload as evidence.
• Your trainer's marking decisions and comments.

We don't collect anything else, we don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't sell or share your information for marketing.

Why we use it

To deliver and assess your training, to keep the assessment records that an RTO must keep, and to report your results for the nationally recognised units through our student management system (aXcelerate).

Who can see it

You, your Training Worx trainer and assessor, and Training Worx administration staff. Completed assessment records are filed in Training Worx's student records. We only share information with others when the law requires it (for example, national VET reporting).

How we protect it

• Data is stored in Australia (Sydney).
• Sign-in is by invitation only, and each learner can only see their own work.
• Files are kept in private storage, and links to view them expire after a short time.
• Working copies here are deleted after your course record is completed and filed.

Your choices

Upload only what an activity asks for, and remove anything personal that isn't needed (for example, other people's details). Before you upload BHP records, also remove commercially sensitive details and follow your site's rules on sharing BHP information. You can ask to see or correct your information at any time.
